Yes, guinea hens do mate for life. One green answers intern reports “One of our guinea hens died last winter and its mate crawled on top of where we had burried it and the next morning we found the mate dead as well. Now thats a broken heart :(“
In the wild, yes, but some domesticated birds are said to occasionally group with two hens to a male, more like our regular chickens.
