Do grizzly bears hunt near the ocean?

Like most bear species, grizzly bears are omnivorous. This meaning they will forage for all sorts of plant and animal material, wherever they can get it. In some parts of their range, such as coastal areas in Alaska and Canada, grizzly bears live near the ocean, and will hunt for whatever kind of food they can find there. So although they do not specialize in hunting aquatic life, grizzlies certainly have no qualms about approaching the ocean to find food.
