Do green companies work with eachother for financing?

It is very common for green companies to form partnerships or sign contracts in an effort to receive financing. Investors are not willing to put their money into ventures they do not believe will succeed. For this reason, companies often look to work with experts in related fields in an effort to gain knowledge or save money when producing a good or service. Toyota, for example, utilizes Sanyo batteries in its hybrid vehicles understanding the mutually beneficial relationship that helps the company grow and continue to receive financing from investors.
