Grapes are plants that grow year round. During the spring, the vines bud, growing vigorously over the summer and finally producing grapes in the late summer and fall. During the winter months, the vines go dormant like many other plants before reviving themselves in the spring. Grapes can be sold year round because they are grown in both the Northern and Southern hemispheres and can be stroed for long periods of times without spoiling.
