Do plants get rid of pollution?

    Plants are not capable of getting rid of pollution. Carbon dioxide is a significant contributer to greenhouse gases. Naturally occuring, the amount of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere has increased significantly due to industrial uses since the industrial revoluation. Plants use carbon dioxide as part of the photosythesis process, an can be beneficial to some extent to remove excess carbon dioxide in the atmosphere.
