Adult frogs don’t eat plants, actually. However, when they are tadpoles they are mostly vegetarian and eat plants around them. As they grow and enter new life cycles, though, they start to become carnivorous. The African Bullfrog is actually cannibalistic and will overtake and eat weaker or smaller siblings!
Most frogs are carnivorous; eating insects, worms, snakes, spiders, mice, arthropods, and snakes, though there are a few herbivorous species. The herbivorous frogs typically eat fruits of plants (Izecksohn’s Brazilian Tree Frog for example).
