do football stadiums use the same amount of energy if they have a full stadium or an empty stadium?

If a game is in progress a stadium will most likely use the same energy for lights, sound, etc. whether it is full or near empty. The difference comes in the amount of people using the bathroom, buying concessions, purchasing tickets and souvenirs. Not to mention the difference in the amount of people driving or taking public transit to the event. The overall consumption within the stadium is increased and therefore the total energy use.
