While fish do not have protruding ears as humans and other animals do, they do have the inner ear parts in their anatomy. This means that fish hear sound vibrations in the water.

Some music no doubt will scare fish as the vibrations may shock them. Other people say that some music soothes their fish. It is unknown in science how fish truly “feel” about the music. What we do know is that they can hear it and do respond.
