Do fish live as long as they used to because of having mercury in their bodies?

Possibly, but we don’t really know because we’ve spent far more time studying the effects of mercury in humans, and not in fish. however, it has been show that mercury is responsible for a variety of biological and neurological disorders in bass and other fish, which could lead to shorter lives.

    I hope this helped!
