Do feral cats cause a lot of environmental damage?

    They can mostly disrupt eco systems by preying on animals and possibly killing all of them off (especially on islands.)

    Soph1989 is correct.  Feral cats become new predators of species and have the potential for destroying an entire population.  In addition, the cats may have harmful effects on the environment.  Animal waste can contaminate water sources or destroy plant life without any protections against it.
