Do farm raised eggs have more protein in them?

There are plenty of reasons to turn to farm raised eggs instead of the commercially-raised ones. Increased protein per egg is not one of them. In fact, it is typical to find that farm raised eggs are slightly smaller in size and thus provide slightly less protein per egg simply due to mass difference. One 2007 independent test showed that farm raised eggs have the following superior characteristics to the commercially raised ones: 1/3 less cholesterol, 1/4 less saturated fat, 2/3 more vitamin A, 2 times more Omega-3 fatty acids, 3 times more vitamin E, and 7 times more beta carotene.
