Do English walnut trees grow wild in pennsylvania.

    Yes they do. They are usually planted in areas that have mild winters, but they can grow in most areas. There is a breeding program in Pennsylvania that produces a number of English Walnuts.

    The walnut trees that are actually native to eastern North America are Black Walnuts, and as far as I can tell there haven’t been that many English Walnut trees brought to Pennsylvania. There are English Walnuts in California, brought there by Franciscan friars.
