A hybrid engine includes an internal combustion engine, so that engine would be subject to overheating in the same way.
An all-electric vehicle deploys different mechanisms, but can still produce heat. However, the heat is produced by different means (i.e. motor load). The heat is not typically as intense, and an all-electric car would not likely overheat under the same circumstances as when an internal combustion engine overheats.
