Do earthworms have live birth?

Although worms are hermaphrodites (have both male and female sex organs), they do not have the capability to give birth.  This means that baby worms are not born but instead hatch from a cocoon (much like a butterfly).  The cocoon is said to be smaller than a grain of rice.
