Do dolphins hunt in packs?

Yes, dolphins are very social animals and depend on their pack for food, defense, and reproduction. Dolphins are carnivores and will feed on entire schools of fish. They have developed communal and cooperative hunting practices since their intelligence have led them to discover that finding food as a group is more efficient than searching individually. The hunting/living pack can range anywhere from 2-40 dolphins.
