Do doctors think it’s safer to spread out childhood vaccinations to avoid overwhelming a child’s immune system?

Vaccines are already spread out.  That is why you get some when you are a toddler, some before kindergarten, some before 7th grade, and some before college.  They have them separated for a reason.

Absolutely. Many doctors also recommend only getting two shots at once no matter how old you are. In some cases you be overdue on many vaccinations but always try to spread them out. Not only can your immune system get compromised but you may also not feel so good during the day and be limited in terms of physical activity and everyday movements.
