Do developing nations hurt the environment more?

Not necessarily. Developing nations may be worse in some ways since, for example, factories in developing countries tend to be less regulated in terms of pollution. On the other hand, one of the major sources of air pollution is cars, which are far more heavily concentrated in developed countries where it’s feasible for the average citizen to own one or more cars.
