This is a hard question, since carbon credit can vary from country to country. Organizations are making attempts to unify this, with groups such as REDD forming. Unfortunately, REDD cannot get sanctioned to have any official credit. The red tape and grey areas around these make it hard for one to be better than the other. Such as, did you know that some farms can get away with getting carbon credit even after deforesting some of their trees anyway? I’ve cited some articles that are interesting.
