Chickens can live almost anywhere! There might be problems if they live in the city though. Chickens tend to thrive in farms and in open spaces. Chickens can be kept in coops or chicken houses unless they live in an area where chickens can roam free. Chickens should always be in the domesticated area with other animals too. They are most common to find in North America as well as other countries on a commercial farm. 🙂
Chickens just need enough space to walk around and be chickens. My six chickens have three cubic meters of space enclosed by chicken wire in which they can roam. They also have a wooden section with three small boxes in which they can go lay their eggs. If you get creative, you can have a lot of fun making your chicken coop.
