Yes, if your aerosol can is empty, you can drop it off at any recycling center that accepts steel and aluminum. If your can has product in it, and it is defective, you can contact the manufacturer for a replacement. Or if your can has product and is not defective, you may need to take it to a hazardous waste facility. It is very important that aerosol cans find their way into recycling centers and not landfills because these cans are highly pressurized and can cause harmful explosions when thrown away.
