Do cell phone towers hurt the environment at all?

    Besides the obvious impact of disturbing habitats by adding a large metal tower where none existed before, research is being done into the effects of proximity to cell phone towers.  According to one theory, the proliferation of mobile phones and the cell towers that accompany them may be a major factor in the worldwide shortage of honey bees.  The theory claims that the electromagnetic radiation given off by the cell towers is a cause of Colony Collapse Disorder, an increasingly common situation where the majority of worker bees abandon the hive, leaving the queen and larvae to die out. 

    Seeing as humans are also part of the environment, the effects of towers on humans should also be noted.  The amounts of radiation delivered by close proximity to cell towers is capable of disrupting normal body functions, causing fatigue, and doing damage to DNA.  Just check this site out:
