Do hydrogen cars just burn hydrogen gas for power?

Yes, they use hydrogen in one of two ways: hydrogen internal combustion or fuel-cell conversion which reacts hydrogen with oxygen to produce electricity. A concern with hydrogen cars is that only a small percentage of hydrogen energy is made from non-renewable sources. Yes, it has a far lighter toll on the environment but it is of concern that we’re developing the energy without an entirely renewable method. It does not occur naturally on earth in a form that can be used as an energy source but many companies are working hard to find a method that can be considered efficient.
