The shelf life for batteries is normally a couple of years depending on the storing conditions. In most cases, the ideal storing conditions are around 10 to 15 degrees Celsius. If you are looking for optimum performance in the short run, sometimes batteries should be stored in hotter temperatures, but in the long run these batteries lose cycles faster.
