Orca whales often times kill Blue Whale babies, Humpback Whale babies (as well as adults), and Sperm whales. Sperm whale babies, Humpback whale and blue whale babies can also be attacked by large sharks.

Mothers protect their young from attacks by living in pods or groups of whales so that the young whale will not be left vulnerable.
