Do babies have a large carbon footprint?

Yes. Babies use up diapers, and need water, electricity, and cleaning products, not to mention the waste they generate from food and broken toys. Diapers alone are the biggest contributor to their carbon footprint, with an average baby going through 5,500 diapers before they’re potty trained. Furthermore, it takes 200-500 years for a disposable diaper to decompose.
