Good question, escobar. Yes, aquatic plants are damaged by water pollution. Since there are many types of pollution, plants can be effected in many different ways. One particular example is when water becomes more dirty and sunlight doesn’t penetrate through the water as much as before, which makes underwater plants not be able to photosynthesize as well.
Hope this helps!
