You might think that apples need cooler weather because they are everywhere in the fall, but that is not the case. In the spring, the blossoms are pollinated, and apples grow throughout the summer. They do well in full sunlight and can withstand a variety of climates because they are a hardy fruit. In the fall, they are ready to be harvested, after growing for the whole summer.
