Some companies do provide recycling services for their products,and checking with their websites is a great way to find out. Hewlett Packard (see link below) includes postage-paid pouches for recycling ink cartridges, and also offers free recycling services for electronic hardware and batteries. In addition, some retailers (such as Best Buy) offer free delivery services that include the disposal of old electronics or appliances (sometimes you will need to pay a recycling fee).
