Most definitely. The antibiotics that are pumped into cattle reach human consumers through their meat and their especially their milk. This over exposure to antibiotics can breed progressively more resistant bacterias, affectionately called “superbugs,” that can attack humans. Unlike when a person is prescribed an antibiotic at a specific dosage and for a specific amount of time to eradicate an infection completely, these low levels of antibiotics only kill off the weakest germs effectively playing the role of natural selection to speed up its evolution.
