Not alot, but there is still a market for quail in the US. I’ve found it on the menu at several locations and it’s quite a tasty bird. I can say i’ve only had it twice though, so quail consumption in the US is not high by any standards, and is regarded as a game (hunting) sport.
Quail is not a commonly found food in America. It is seen as a delicacy and is usually only available at upscale restaurants. So, an American can typically go their entire life without eating quail.
