Do Americans consume enough meat in a year to consume a whole cow?

    New York Time have confirmed that Americans consume about 10 billion animals a year. They are fed 10 times more in the case of grain-fed beef in the United States. In a day Americans eat about an average of 3.7 ounces daily of meat and poultry. United States earned the highest capita and consumption for meat in all of the world. US comsumed about 45,000 meat per year!

    No, Americans do not eat a whole cow in one year In 2002 the average American consumed 124.8lbs.

    This is a steady increase from years past 2000: 122lbs and 1961: 89.2lbs.
