Copper is used in electrical wiring due to its high conductivity. Silver has better conductivity than copper, but it is also a lot more expensive. Someone somewhere might be using silver wire for some special purpose, but the general public does not find it advantageous. Silver and gold wire are typically used for decorative applications rather than practical use. Aluminum can conduct electricity also, but not nearly as well as copper.
