Do all planetary systems orbit around a center mass?

Yes, take a look at all known galaxies, and you will see that there is generally a large light in the middle. This is usually a very dense black hole that keeps the galaxy in gravitational balance. Same principle for planetary systems, they orbit around a star and the motion around the star known as centrifugal force is in balance with the gravitational pull of the star.
