Do all leeches live in water?

    No, some can live on land too. In Australia, land leeches survive in damp areas of tropical rainforests. The jawed leech is one example.

    Not all leeches live in water and not all leeches suck blood. There are terrestrial leeches that feed on vegetation. They live in tropical areas of Australia and Nepal. They can be very common in some areas.
