Is dirt bad to have in our drinking water?

The particles f soil in and of themselves are not bad, but it is the bacteria and microbes that live in dirt that can cause problems. If these organisms get into your digestive track they can cause all kinds of ailments from diarrhea to a full blown tape worm. Now most of these organisms can be killed by boiling the water before you drink it or adding a purifier such as iodine.
