The United States government sent about 100 troops into Uganda in October of 2011. Barack Obama says that their mission is to help track down rebel leader Joseph Kony who is the leader of the Lord’s Resistance Army. This group has been using viscous guerrilla warfare for more than two decades. They are known for many cases of murder, rape, and kidnapping of children. The Lord’s Resistance Army is a strong advocate for the ten commandments and are trying to spread this political ideology around Uganda and other African nations in the proximity.
