Yes. In a press release released in November 2009, it was publicly announced that the Las Vegas City Center earned six LEED Gold certifications. Opened in December 2009, the CityCenter marked the highest LEED achievement by any hotel, retail district or residential development in Las Vegas. The 18-million-square-foot metropolis is deemed to be one of the world’s largest sustainable communities.
