No. The Ancient Olympics originally featured only one event, a six hundred foot run, but were later expanded to twenty-three. The contests included boxing, wrestling, horse and chariot racing, jumping and throwing competitions, and the pankration. The Olympics eventually became a sort of festival with contests in music and arts, but these weren’t officially featured as events.
