im sorry if I asked this question twice
Continental tropical air comes from the southwest desert region, where the temperature is high during the day and it is cool at night, and the air’s dewpoint is low. After it leaves the regions of Mexico and the high plains where it originated, it rises to the mid atmosphere in the form of dry air. The dryline, the boundary where continental tropical air begins can cause thunderstorm if it is strong enough.
