Since water is continually replenishing itself the US can never “run out” of water. Unlike oil, when water is used it is not consumed, but becomes waste water, is cleaned/treated, and then is recycled back into the water system. Water is both a renewable and finite resource because there is only so much water that can be used but water is continually coming.
