    The answer should be b) can accelerate or slow early motor development since cultural variations AKA the way a child is brought up and the environment he/she grows up in affect motor development. The debate over nature vs. nurture in psychology is one that has been going on for decades, but it has been proven by several studies that the environment (nurture) exerts influence over a child and over early motor development.
