Could U.S. cars handle 100% ethanol?

Yes!  Henry Ford actually originally designed the Model T to run on ethanol.  However, if you want a car today that runs on 100% ethanol, you have to buy a car that’s labelled a “flex-fuel car,” which means that it can burn any combination of gas or ethanol.  There are about a million flex-fuel cars made in the United States every year of all makes and models.  You may even own one already!
