Sure! Cardboard is just made of paper layers of varying thickness. You can even turn newspapers into rudimentary card stock if you shred them and leave them soaking in warm water until they’re pulpy, then spread the pulp on screens covered in fabric. When the pulp dries, the newspaper has been turned into card stock.
