Other rigs have pump around 600-800 barrels per day, however, the oil rig in the gulf, at its maximum, was pumping around 5,000 barrels per day, which is obviously much much higher.
The average of all oil wells in the US is 10.5 barrels per well per day, not hundreds of barrels.
