Pepsi’s environmental policy is similar to Coca-Cola’s. Pepsi promises to encourage recycling, pollution management, and conservation of resources. The other initiatives deal with energy management and sustainable packaging. Coca-Cola implements water programs and conservation efforts to sustain soil, water, and climate. This company also donates millions to disaster relief agencies such as the Red Cross and to HIV/AIDS prevention.
Neither of them are incredibly “eco-friendly”. For that reason, of the two you could argue that Pepsi is the most eco-friendly, simply due to the fact that it owns a smaller percentage of the market, and as a result, uses less resources and produces less waste.
