Is coffee or tea better for the environment?

There is generally less energy consumed in the production tea than coffee.  Less processing is required, and more tea can be brewed per ounce of tea than coffee.  Also, espresso drinks require even more energy to make, as more machinery and energy is used to produce the end produce.  However, both tea and coffee can be purchased both organic and of free trade.
