Is cod becoming harder to get in the grocery stores?

    Since 1850, the cod population has decline 96% due to overfishing.  So naturally, since the supply is scarce in the wild, supply in the supermarket is also declining.  This is also due to the fact that most of the cod brought in is exported, because that is more profitable, leaving less for our supermarkets to sell.
