Co2 level and aerosol & water vapor correlation in GW.

I was taught at global warming/climate science course 101 carbon dioxide is one of major GG and water vapor, methane or aerosols as well. But If I understood it correctly, I learned aerosol and water vapor in the atmosphere possess ‘counter amplifying’ nature when it’s present with other molecules like Co2.. Like the higher water vapor and aerosol concentration in that air, the smaller CO2 in the air..Is this concept or observation true or I somehow misunderstood the lecture?
