Climate change traditionally refers to change in the distribution of weather over a period of time, however it has become linked to the recently coined “Global warming.” It would be suffice to say that climate change is the category in which global warming is listed under, but they are used interchangably in contemporary politics.
Global warming is the overall warming of the planet based on the average temperature over the entire surface. Climate change is the changes in regional climate characteristics which include temperature, humidity, rainfall, wind, etc.
