Is chocolate good for you?

    Dark chocolate contains antioxidants, which help prevent things such as heart disease. (keep in mind that there is still a fat content, too)

    Milk chocolate is a high fat food that really has no nutritive value.  Dark chocolate however, is very good for you as it contains antioxidants.  When picking a dark chocolate to eat, one should stick to no more than 3 ounces daily.  Also, you want dark chocolate that is at least 60 or 70%.  Eating more than 3 ounces does not make it more healthy, you will simply be eating much more fat than neccesary.

    I can say this with authority–chocolate can brighten a person’s day, and that alone makes it good for you 😉

    Yes.  However, most of the health benefits are in dark chocolate.  It contains antioxidants which are great for your health.  Be aware of the fact that there’s also a lot of fat in chocolate, too, though!
